Founding Worker Draw — Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement to these Terms

Entry into the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Information about the Promotion on the OnTheRostrr pages of this website forms part of these Terms. To the extent of any inconsistency, these Terms prevail.

2. Promotion period

The Promotion commences when these Terms are published on this page. Entries close when the Promoter exports the entry data for the draw under clause 6 (the “Closing Time”); the closing date will be announced in advance on the House of Hospo Instagram (@houseofhospoau). Eligible individuals who joined the founding worker waitlist before the commencement date are taken to have entered at commencement, and their entries (including referral entries) count in full. Entries received after the Closing Time are invalid.

3. Eligibility

Entry is open to natural persons who:

• are aged 18 years or over at the time of entry;
• are Australian residents ordinarily resident in New South Wales, Victoria or Queensland; and
• have joined the OnTheRostrr founding worker waitlist using their own genuine email address. Venue waitlist registrations are not entries in the Promotion.

One waitlist registration per person. Directors, officers, employees and contractors of the Promoter or its related bodies corporate, any agency or supplier directly associated with conducting the Promotion (including the draw provider), and the immediate families of each of them, are not eligible to enter or win. Residents of other states and territories may join the waitlist and use the OnTheRostrr platform, but are not eligible for the draw.

4. Free entry

Entry is free. No purchase or payment of any kind is required to enter or to win, and no fee of any kind is payable by a winner to receive a prize.

5. Entries and referrals

Each eligible entrant receives 1 entry on joining the founding worker waitlist, and 10 additional entries for each Verified Referral. A “Verified Referral” means a new, genuine individual who joins the founding worker waitlist via the entrant's unique referral link, using their own genuine and unique email address, and whose registration the Promoter has verified as genuine. There is no cap on the number of entries an entrant may accumulate. The chance of winning depends on the total number of entries received.

6. The draw

The draw will be conducted electronically after the Closing Time and before 1 November 2026. Entry data will be exported from the Promoter's waitlist platform to a data file in which each eligible entrant appears once together with their total number of entries calculated under clause 5. Winners will be selected at random using randomdraws.com.au, a certified electronic random draw system operated by Trade Promotions and Lotteries Pty Ltd that issues a certificate of compliance for each draw. Every entry has an equal and random chance of being selected. 3 winning entries will be drawn in sequence; each entrant may win a maximum of one prize, and once an entrant is drawn their remaining entries are excluded from the later selections. The Promoter will retain the entry data file and the draw certificate for at least five years and will make them available to a regulator on request.

7. Prizes and payment

There are 3 prizes, each a cash prize of $500 AUD. Total prize pool: $1,500 AUD. Each prize will be paid, at the winner's election, to the winner's OnTheMonee / OnTheRostrr card or by electronic transfer to an Australian bank account in the winner's name, within 28 days of the winner confirming their eligibility and identity and providing valid payment details (see clause 9 for the time allowed to confirm). Payment is not conditional on anything else. Prizes are personal to the winner and are not transferable or assignable. The winner is responsible for any tax consequences of receiving a prize and should seek independent advice.

8. Winner notification and publication

Winners will be notified by email within 2 business days of the draw, and their first name, surname initial and state will be posted on the House of Hospo Instagram (@houseofhospoau) within 7 days of the draw, with the post remaining visible for at least 28 days. The outcome of any redraw under clause 9 (including where a prize could not be awarded) will be announced in the same way.

9. Unclaimed prizes and redraws

The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact each winner. If a winner has not confirmed their eligibility and provided valid payment details within 2 months of the draw, or is found to be ineligible or is disqualified under clause 10, that prize is forfeited and the Promoter will conduct a redraw from the remaining valid entries within 7 business days, using the same draw method, with the forfeited winner's entries excluded. Redraws repeat until each prize is awarded. Redraw winners are subject to the same notification, publication and payment terms.

10. Verification, integrity and disqualification

Referrals must be genuine. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of any entry, referral or entrant (including requiring proof of identity, age and residency), and to disqualify any entry, referral or entrant, or withdraw or reduce entries awarded, where the Promoter reasonably believes there has been: self-referral; the creation or use of multiple, duplicate, disposable or fake email addresses or accounts; automated, scripted or bot-generated registrations; the use of paid, incentivised or bulk-distributed referral links; the sending of unsolicited commercial electronic messages contrary to the Spam Act 2003 (Cth); or any other conduct that interferes with the fair conduct of the Promotion or breaches these Terms. Referral links should be shared personally, through the entrant's own channels, with people they know. Disqualification may occur before or after the draw; where a drawn entrant is disqualified, clause 9 applies.

11. Disputes

Any dispute about the conduct of the Promotion or the claiming of a prize should be emailed to hello@ontherostrr.com within 14 days of the relevant draw or decision. The Promoter will consider and respond to disputes in good faith within 14 days. Nothing in this clause limits an entrant's rights under the Australian Consumer Law or their right to raise a complaint with a fair trading or gaming regulator.

12. Changes to the Promotion

The Promoter will not cancel the Promotion, and the prizes will be awarded as described in these Terms. The Promoter may amend these Terms only where required to comply with law or the written direction of a regulator, or to protect the integrity of the Promotion against fraud or technical failure, and no amendment will materially disadvantage entrants who have already entered.

13. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for lost, late or misdirected entries, or for technical failures of networks, hardware or software beyond its reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee or other right under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Privacy

The Promoter collects entrants' names, email addresses, city and state, role preferences and referral activity to conduct, administer and publicise the Promotion (including providing entry data to the draw provider named in clause 6), and to send the waitlist communications described at signup (launch news and founding-spot updates). Entrant information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Requests to access or correct personal information can be sent to hello@ontherostrr.com.

15. Social media platforms

The Promotion may be advertised on platforms including Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok. The Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any such platform, and entrants release each platform from all liability in connection with the Promotion.

16. Permits

The Promotion is a free-entry trade promotion open only to residents of New South Wales, Victoria or Queensland. At this prize pool, no permit, licence or authority is required to conduct the Promotion in those states, so no permit number applies. The Promotion is conducted in accordance with applicable state law and the Australian Consumer Law.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
